Exercise & Stress Management Morning Workout Series
One of our most popular on-line exercise series, this program provides an opportunity for those unable to do vigorous exercise to use their muscles to stay limber with easy-to-learn stretching and strengthening moves. Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesday, and Friday Mornings online (Zoom) from 10am - 11am.
Our current online workout schedule is as follows:
Mondays, 10am-11am - Stronger Seniors Very light workout designed to stretch and strengthen muscles, mostly while sitting in a straight-back chair. Standing is only used for balance exercises at the end of the program. NO DANCING. Light, 2-3lb. weights are used for several exercises, and can be provided to you by MRHS; please call us if you need them, 212-666-4000.
Wednesdays, 10am-11am - 10 Years Younger Light workout, beginning with stretching while standing. Simple dance movements. Also sitting exercises in a straight-back chair using light, 2-3lb. weights which can be provided to you by MRHS; please call us if you need them, 212-666-4000.
Friday, 10am-11am - Zumba! Light to Medium dance exercises (standing) to various types of Latin music. No weights needed to participate, nor do you need a sense of "rhythm" to learn these easy-to-master dance/exercise moves. Guaranteed to get your blood pumping and you face smiling!

Then, click on blue Zoom link 5-10 mins. before the class begins and join the fun!
