Bio of Ching Juhl
Ching Chen Juhl has performed throughout North and South America, Europe, and China. A silver prize winner at the Giuranna International Viola Competition, she has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in US and China. As an orchestral musician, she has performed with Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Phoenix Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony and others. She has backed up Rod Stewart, toured with Perry Como, performed in Broadway Productions, and she is the violist/manager for the Jade String Trio. She has been a senior lecturer at St. Joseph’s College for ten years and currently directs the Music Studio Manhattan. Graduating from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, she earned a Master of Music degree from Indiana University. She is also a certificated video producer from New York University. Ching Chen Juhl has created more than 165 concert videos and documentaries. She has been a MG resident since 2006.
