MRHS receives support from the city, the state and foundations. But these grants are dependent on our receiving broad support from our own community. Donors look at the amount of support and the numbers of contributors to determine if a program is important to the community it serves.

There is no question concerning the importance of the programs and services of MRHS - the importance to the whole community- when a neighbor is helped we are all helped. The mission of MRHS is based on the philosophy of "neighbor helping neighbor". We have lived up to that philosophy for 39 years.

Last year, MRHS staff and volunteers made 13,838 contacts with about 300 Morningside residents who needed a variety of services. We had 5,304 persons attend our various programs and activities, many of which offer opportunities to the entire community.

In past years your response has been great. We are asking that you continue you generous support. We suggest a gift of $150.00, but all gifts large and small are most appreciated.
